Sidewalk Museum of Congress (SMoC)

The Sidewalk Museum of Congress, or SMoC, is located outside my Congressional Rep’s doorway, which is the closest government space to my home in which to dissent as a citizen-artist against the status quo of establishment politics & its allied corporate media, and of elite museum spaces. SMoC has every color and no logo, and communicates through everything that enters its space — through chalk, through grains, music, signs, spoken-word, the homeless pedestrians’ footsteps, embroidery floss, poetry, @RogerMarshallMD’s office window display, car horns, the finger, the hand-wave, the passing freight train, discomfort foods, the smells of the nearby flour mill, climate, shadows, silence…
