Priti Gulati Cox (PritiGCox) is a political artist and creator of the Sidewalk Museum of Congress (SMoC) located outside 1st district Representative @RogerMarshallMD’s office in Salina, Kansas.

Her continuing project Patterns of an Occupied Planet uses her Rep’s sidewalk, ‘Discomfort Foods’ and ‘Uneasy Embroidery’ to communicate intricate details of the faces and places of resistance to climate emergency, and social, political and economic injustice.

She plants individual portraits of resistance to occupation on concrete via seeds; in her kitchen via Discomfort Foods, products and ingredients; and on fabric via floss and patterns.
